So I just asked Izzy about a scrape on her finger. She told me she got it from Scott's tool stuff. When I told her she shouldn't be playing with his tools she responded, "I didn't! It just jumped into my finger! Really, it did! I'm telling the truth!" We had a family night lesson on being honest this week and apparently this is the result.
A few weeks ago Ryan found a small lego piece and he told me it was one of the Eddy's. I asked him how it came to be at our house and he replied, "I don't know...maybe it traveled in my pocket."
Honesty...it's a work in progress over here.
For those of you who don't know, we have a little cat in our family now. She is a very sweet and calm cat and amazingly patient for what she puts up with from Isabelle. Izzy named her Sparkles and then changed it to Seraphina, so now she is Seraphina-Sparkles Johnson - although Ryan thinks we should have Scott as a middle name, so add that in as well. Did I tell you she is patient? She would have to be with a name like that. Honestly, she mostly gets called cat or kitty.

Hi Sunny and Scott, Shanda gave me your website and I love it! It will be fun to see the kids by photo more often. I hope to see you sometime before Christmas!

The kids are both very attached to Seraphina but Isabelle is even a little obsessive. I found her yesterday tucked in the bathroom with the cat trying to blow her fur dry - I'm not sure if it was wet or not, but the cat didn't appreciate it and left her marks on Izzy's shoulder. Maybe someday we'll learn.
Lyn, we'd love to see you before Christmas too, I'll try to work it out with Shanda.
Leave it to Izzy to think of something like that. I love that they snuggle with their kitty, so cute!
