Last summer I bought Ryan an Adidas exercise outfit (jacket and pants) from costco which he loved. Sometime in the fall he lost the jacket. I searched high and low, cleaned out closets and under beds, checked the school and church lost and found, etc.
I decided it was long gone and not to worry about it anymore.
Last Thursday something Ryan remembered that it was missing and started lamenting again. I told him it was gone but smiled that night as he prayed specifically that he would find his blue jacket with the three white stripes down the arms.
After that I'll admit I totally forgot about it.
Yesterday afternoon there was a knock on the door, Ryan answered it to find Sean and Warren holding his jacket.
I reminded Ryan of his prayer and thanked the boys for being an answer to that prayers.
Ryan is such an example of faith. He was not even surprised when the boys showed up at our door, pleased, but not surprised. He's such a good boy.

That is so cool. I honestly wish I could have the faith of a little child.
That is so great! I remember when I was little praying to help me find my achievement days bracelet and I found it! The faith little kids have is so wonderful.
Was it really last fall? That would mean that it was buried under snow (and under the trampoline) all winter before we found it. I only brought it inside last week to wash it. I'm glad Ryan prayed so I could be prompted to use my common sense and look at the tag.
Good job on writing that down. You never know when you will have to give a talk in church and that will come in handy.
Sunny!!! I'm so sorry, I haven't called back-- as you can tell I've been a bit of a wreck this week! I am still working until the 27th! I checked my books TODAY and still have a bit of time THIS saturday-- and some time the middle of next week. If you are interested still, call the salon asap (I won't be in till saturday to schedule you myself) and I would be happy to see you! If you can't make it in time, I would be glad to direct you to some fabulous co-workers. :) Can't wait to see your smiling face! (salon 375-4247)
What an awesome faith booster! I love the faith of a child. I honestly wish I could be more like that. What an angel you have there to recognize that he can turn to Heavenly Father and know he will be answered.
That is so neat. I'm glad he got his jacket back. I think he was wearing that outfit at church today, he showed me how the pants unzip on the legs.
I have a few "lost" things at my house, if you'd like to mention it to Ryan. I wouldn't mind finding them.
