It's funny, I look at these pictures which were mostly taken within the last week and I think, "Wow, she has changed!"
Things are going great, she is such a pleasant, happy baby (mostly) we are just so happy to have her here.
However, I'm not going to lie, it's 9:00 am and I'm wondering if I can go back to bed...I'm so tired.

She is just adorable. I think that the red mark on her head looks like a heart in the picture where she is sucking her thumb.
I hope everything went well with the sitter last night.
I wish that I liked the new baby phase more. I love the tiny hands and feet, the smell of a stranger from heaven, the fact that they wrap so tight and snuggle so well....
...but I do not function well with little sleep. Therefore, it is just not my favorite time. I'm glad I don't get a choice and they come the way they do.
She has changed-- her face is filling out.
She's a thumb sucker! What a lucky little baby. I can't wait to snuggle her and kiss her. Five weeks!
Technically, Kate, she only did it once (thanks to Annie), but I did catch it with the camera. Maybe she'll pick it up again later!
