Pinewood Derby

The cubscout years have begun. Ryan was ecstatic to receive his first pinewood derby kit at scouts a few weeks ago. He and Scott had a lot of fun cutting and sanding (thanks to mom and her tools). He painted it how he wanted. Scott got lots of tips from neighbors who were pinewood derby masters in their cubscout days. End result: Ryan was delighted to be first place!! He thought it was a fantastic evening (of course). >Scott also brought home an old kit from the neighbors so Isabelle was able to make her own car. She loved designing and painting it (it was already cut) but wasn't as interested in racing.
It was a fun night for them which is good because we have more years to come!
