Zoo (or as Ashley calls it - the Petting Zoo)

We went to the zoo to kick off our Fall Break this year and we had a marvelous time!! The weather was great, the wildlife cooperated and so did my own little animals.  Ashley was in heaven.  Her favorite animal was the little monkey that she said she wanted to hold in her hands.  For the next several days she would cup her hands together and say that she wanted to go back to the petting zoo to hold the little monkey.

 Here are my four adorable little monkeys.  I'm so lucky to be their mother.

 It was fun seeing the baby elephant.  Ashley liked the live elephant better than the sneezing statue.

 It's great to have bigger siblings.  Since it was Ashley's first visit the big kids wanted to show her everything.

 The kids all enjoyed the gorilla statue.

 Even Thomas had a grand time.  But how could he complain when he had his dad around?!?

 The kids liked the prairie dog holes.  I thought they were a bit claustrophobic which is why there are no pictures of me in them!

 These aren't grand pictures but they are evidence of the grand time that everyone had on the playground!
