Ryan tested and received his Black Belt this weekend. He competed Friday night and did very well. He took two first place and one second place medal. He worked really hard and looked very sharp.
The next morning we showed up early for him to receive instructions for his leadership assignment and watch the Demo teams compete. After a long day of waiting and watching others compete (after his assignment) we watched as Ryan kicked and punched and jumped his way to his black belt! We were so proud of him! Grandma, Grandpa, Brandon, Jake and Carolyn joined us to cheer him on!
