It was so much fun!! Growing up I always wanted to be like Snow White and Cinderella at Disneyland, so working on occasion at birthday parties gets me the chance to do just that!
Jennie (my sister) has a high school friend who does this as a business, so occasionally I get to help her out. I've included a link to her blog on mine so you can check it out if you want.
I've been Ariel, Aurora and Cinderella but I'll admit that so far Alice has been my favorite!!

I slept quite well, thank you. The girls there wondered if I need to feng shui my room. I don't know about that, but I know I can't put a trickling water fountain in or I would be up all night in the bathroom - I guess the nightmares would be gone though!
That is so cool. I have always wanted to dress up and go as a Princess to a little girl's party. You might even say it is on my list of things to do before I die. Give your friend my number, but tell her I would make a better princess next year when I am not pregnant. I think they frown on princesses in the family way.
You make a wonderful Alice. Melinda is one of my good friends but I just found out recently that she is moonlighting as a princess. Can't wait until I have girls and can have one of the parties.
How fun for you Sunny. I think you make a terrific princess. You look a lot like your mom with the blond wig on.
When you dress up like that what do you have to do? Do you have to sing? That is such a cute idea.

I play games with them, tell a story, and sing a song then hang around for pictures and gifts (depending on the time). It's great fun!

I agree that this is the perfect gig for you. Do you think she will have a Giselle (Enchanted)one day? That would be ideal.
Ooh Deanne.. Giselle would be a great idea! Sunny is perfect for this job. She has a voice like a princess and is so great with kids. I went with Melinda once to be Cinderella while she was Belle. It was so fun, but I was too nervous to sing a solo. So... I referred her to my singing sis!
I just asked her about Giselle and she said that because she is a character created by Disney, she can't claim to be her. She can do Little Mermaid, Princess Beauty (Belle), Cinderella and the others because they were characters from other stories before they were Disney Princesses.
So when will Melinda call me? I make an incredible Gaston.
